Hi and welcome to my website. On this website you will find both professional and personal information about myself and my family.

I have just returned to Australia and now reside in the lovely little village of Rockley in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. It is so nice seeing the blue skys and breathing the clean air after 8 years in China.
Prior to returning to Australia I lived in Hefei from 2008-July 2012 where I met my gorgeous wife Ni Guang Jun. In July 2012 we moved to Nanjing for 1 year only later to return to Hefei in July 2013 to July 2015.

At a professional level I have continued to grow in statue and responsibility as an educator. My final position in China was a senior educator for IIBT in Hefei.   While in China I  coordinated an Australian University programme here in Hefei and have recently returned to this role which you can find out more on newly updated site for the IIBT Australian University Foundation Programme

I have also as the academic supervisor within the IUP Program for the JESIE Program for the Jiangsu and trained teachers in Hefei Foreign Language School and supported the development of their IELTS Programme.

Now I have returned to Australia I will continue some IELTS Examining and now assessing other long-term opportunities in Bathurst region of NSW. I know I have some challenges ahead resetting or changing my skill set for the localk employment situaiton

At a personal level I married a Hefei girl and now integrated into the life and culture of the lChina. I have also enjoyed the joys of parenthood with the birth of our son Tim on the 9th March 2011.  My son and I eagerly await the arrivial of my wife from China. My son loves the animals and has enjoyed his first few days in the transition programme of the local Rockley Public School.

I have on this website some of my professional background and experiences I have had in China. I enjoy meeting new people and have found often holiday work some of the best experiences I have had in my life and soon will be moving back to Australia in July 2014 to the Bathurst region of NSW. The following has more on

Please take time to view my website and learn about myself and my family. Below left Jean and I with our son soon after he was born and to the right Jean with my parents on our visit to Australia in 2010. My son love Rockley and was excited to see the snow on arrival and he also is fascinated by the animals in the village. See the photos at the very bottom. Overtime as i settle into Rockley I will develop a small website about this loverly little village.
